On Tuesday, February 13, 2024, the promotion of the anthology of contemporary writers "Sandglass of Duration" was held at the Đura Jakšić House. The publisher of the anthology is the Association of Serbian Writers in the Homeland and the Diaspora (USKOR), together with the Association of Writers of Serbia (UPS). The promotion of the anthology was accompanied by a rich cultural and artistic program, alongside the sale of the anthology and books by association members, with proceeds from the sales going towards the treatment of writer Vasilije Urošević from USKOR and UPS. The special guest at the promotion was journalist and publicist Draško Aćimović, and the event was covered by RTS (Radio Television of Serbia) along with numerous other guests from the social and cultural sphere. The event was hosted by the President of USKOR and Vice President of UPS, writer Branko Stanković. In addition to him, the opening speeches about the anthology were given by the editor-in-chief of the anthology and all publications of USKOR and UPS, Igor Tintor, as well as by journalist and publicist Draško Aćimović regarding the humanitarian action, with an address to the attendees by the mother of the young writer Vasilije Urošević, Đurđica, and notable recitals by poetic creators featured in the anthology. Prose and poetry creators who participated in the event include: Branko Stanković, Marina Matić, Igor Tintor, Olivera Mišković, Rale Grubić, Dušan Piletić, retired Brigadier General Budimir Rakić, Matija Mirković, Mateja Mirković, Nikola Mrdak, Danijela Vukčević, Nebojša Stojoski, Dobrivoje Gajić, Dana Degent, Magda Đorđević, Katja and Kalina Vasilev, Aleksandar Petrović Vićentijević and Maja Petrović Vićentijević, Gordana Zdravković, toastmaster and poet Dragiša Simić, guest of the event Todosije Tanasijević, Mirjana Abramović Popović, President of the Association of Military Veterans, Miroslav Nikičević and other. Acknowledgments for the cultural and artistic contribution were given to the director of the Đura Jakšić House, Katarina Simjonović, to long-time member and major donor of USKOR, Ljiljana Jeftić, and to the presidents of the Orthodox Thread Association and recipients of the Order of the Russian Federation for Lifetime Achievement, Vinka Radović. The event was covered by the daily newspaper Politika under the headline Presentation of the Anthology Sandglass of Duration.
