When I saw you

When I saw you, I thought that the heavenswere playing with usI wondered if you were a woman.....

WHEN I SAW YOU

WHEN I SAW YOU

WHEN I SAW YOU

When I saw you, I thought that the heavens
were playing with us
I wondered if you were a woman poetess
or a cloud in black deep shoes.

When I touched you in the virtual world
suddenly darkness fell around me
I thought if I had met an Angel in flight
or a woman in black deep shoes.

When I gave you a blue heart
I felt your face blushing
as if I had freed a picture from its frame

and for nights afterward, I didn't sleep
because my thoughts rushed towards the woman
in black deep shoes.

I, the prophetic poet universal and Serb heterological and magical master of words, was born in 1958 in Užice. Until the age of 12, I lived in the countryside, which I consider to be an extremely important detail of my biography. I began writing poetry at the age of 18. At 19, I moved to Belgrade. To date, I have written one collection of poetry entitled "The Death of Gendarme Herc" (1976 - 1990), which contains 112 poems, and a poem titled "The Song That Should Replace One of Šuljaga's Loaves" (1996). I have never published anything. I am still working on my second collection of poetry. When I was young, my father told me, "Son, you don't have to be like everyone else," and I am still grateful to him for that.
