I Found You

I Found You

I Found You

I found you
there where I seldom go,
in some corner by the table.
I found you,
just when I can't alleviate
the heart that's afflicted with pain.

I recognized you
when I came close to you,
many days have passed before words
which now come one after another.
Who dared to prevent them?

I touched you,
a smile spreads with fiery lips,
our hands clasp in yearning.
I touched you,
a brilliant shine radiates from your pupils.
Beautiful memories bind me to you.
