I Want

I Want

I Want

I want to touch you
with the nostalgia of unfulfilled dreams.
If I suppress the trace of pain,
a new hope will spark.

Just to stroke you
with trembling thoughts,
to catch up to your step,
in distant silhouettes.

I want to touch you
with quivering fingers
to imprint tenderness
in your chest.

Let me empower you
with a honeyed kiss,
to alleviate bitterness,
with thirsty lips.
