WANTED

Wanted, one Miodrag
to bring back my smile!
In person or by the wind.

Wanted, a pair of green eyes
to urgently gaze into mine.

Wanted, two hands that knew the paths
to clear overgrown trails of sighs.

Wanted, a whisper to encourage,
to give comfort!
Come, bring color to these gray days.
Do a spring cleaning so all sorrows disappear.
Wear a green shirt of tenderness like back then.

Make the Danube flow with the gold of the sunset.
Let the stars count our sighs,
let the dawn wait to break.
Let them watch us in the bakery,
it reads on our foreheads
Found each other!

That's why I'm searching for you,
writing to the wind,
the sun, the Danube!
Show him the way
to me, to us!
