Poetry evening dedicated to the brotherhood of two nations, Serbia and Russia, at the Russian House

On June 6th, 2024, at the Russian House, on the birthday of the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin, a poetry evening dedicated to the brotherhood of two nations, Serbs and Russians, was held.
The program featured poets from the Association of Serbian Writers at Home and Abroad and the Association of Writers of Serbia: Branko Stanković, Aleksandra Konjik, Danilo Vasojević, Vinka Radović, seven-year-old David Vasilijević from the Speaking Section Orthodox Thread, Boro Nagradić, Mateja and Matija Mirković, Vjera Raičević, Gordana Uzelac, Dobrivoje Gajić, Danica Degent, Olivera Adžić, Jasmina Dimitrijević, Marina Matić, Igor Tintor, Danilo Drobnjak, Olivera Mišković, Tatijana Ajholcer, Dragica Radojević, Suzana Mančić, Mirjana Matić, Nikola Mrdak. Instead of poets who, for justified reasons, were unable to perform their poems, the poetry was recited by actress Ružica Rutić.
The evening was enriched by their participation in the program by the folk guslar Batrić Jokanović, president of the Association of Guslars Bajo Pivljanin, Ana Ivanović with piano accompaniment by David Ivanović, eleven-year-old David Ilić, and Aleksa Nedeljković.
The program was hosted by the president of the Association of Serbian Writers at Home and Abroad, Branko Stanković, and Violeta Ljubenković. The attendees were addressed by Pavel Bušujev, advisor to the director of the Russian House.
